SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH
Location: Ely, Nevada
Award: Certificate of Award Best of 2006 - Best Sustainable Project - Southwest Contractor
The project consists of a main nave - or central approach to the altar - and a small chapel for the 10,000 sf church. Included is a mosaic created in Italy and integration of several green building principles. JVC incorporated a heat pump that channels water to keep the church’s temperature level year-round.
