Roy Burson
PRINCIPAL IN CHARGE
Roy Burson, principal in charge, utilizes his 20 years of architectural experience to lead the team at this prestigious architectural firm that specializes in commercial, religious, institutional, residential and public work architecture. In addition to researching, planning, designing and administering building projects, he is responsible for managing the staff, developing new business and maintaining client relations.
Burson joined JVC Architects in 1994 following two years at Pete Larez R.D. where he drafted and designed custom homes. He previously worked as a draftsman for Richard Luke Architects in Las Vegas for five years.
A Las Vegas native, Burson attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Architecture in 1994. Three years later, Burson received a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. He currently serves on the board of directors for the American Institute of Architects and the Council of Education Facility Planners International board. An advocate of the community, Burson participates in Canstruction, an annual design/build competition benefiting the Community Food Bank, as well as numerous other community organizations.
