JIM VAN COMPERNOLLE

As president and principal architect of JVC Architects, Van Compernolle is a motivating force behind this prestigious architectural firm that specializes in commercial, religious, institutional, residential, and public works architecture. In addition to researching, planning, designing, and administering building projects, he is responsible for managing the staff, developing new business and maintaining client relations.
Van Compernolle possesses over 20 years of architecture experience. Prior to founding JVC Architects in 1991, the Las Vegas native worked as project coordinator for the locally based Atlandla Design. While there, Van Compernolle served as the onsite coordinator for the Mirage Hotel and Resort and Shadow Creek Country Club where his primary responsibility was to resolve design conflicts between contractors and the design team. Van Compernolle previously worked as a project manager for CCBG Architects in Pheonix, Arizona.
Van Compernolle is a registered architect in Arizona, Nevada, and California. He attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where he received a bachelor of arts in Architecture. He is affiliated with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and Associated General Contractors of America.
